I wanted to give a little update on the Eugene Throw I've been working on...
With Christmas, and doing things with the family, I haven't had a whole lot of time to crochet...but, I'm grabbing a row here and there when I can...
It's been a lot of fun to watch the cables emerge from the yarn......to watch them join, intertwine and become individual lines again....it's a kind of dance......a rhythm of movement.....poetry of sorts...
Crochet is my art....so please bear with me.....
:-)
All romantic notions aside, it is very stubborn to photograph.
Or, it could be my color of yarn....
Maybe once the weather turns, and it's not so wet outside, I'll be able to get some better photos in a daylight setting.
Until then, Joy in a little progress and enjoying a beautiful project.

It is beautiful and the pattern emerging is gorgeous. I shy away from patterns that require constant concentration. Row after row of changes makes drives me a bit batty. I can see that this is going to be a lovely blanket. Blessings and best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThank you Tammy. Happy New Year! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is beautiful I think the pictures look great and I love the color you are using!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It looks very complicated. You must have a ton of concentration and patience.
ReplyDeleteIt is turning out lovely, and color is beautiful. I'm progressing slowly as well. I'm around row 32 or so into it and love the way the cables are twisting the design around. I find I have to count the stiches on wrong side rows to make sure I'm on track. Wiil post more pics in a couple of days. Have a Happy New Year's Eve.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. It's been a fun pattern so far and I've enjoyed working on it. It's definitely going to be warm and cozy when it's done. Happy New Year to each of you.
