It won't be long now, Christmas is just a week (and a day) away.
The holiday has really crept up on me. I don't feel as prepared this year, as I have in years past. I usually have my menus planned out and have started some baking...
So this morning, I got out the old steno pad.....the secretary in me still likes to use steno pads...and started my list(s). I'm feeling more organized already.
I think some Christmas cookie making and baking is in order for this afternoon. And, if time allows, we'll make our almond bark pretzels my son loves so much....

I am making no bake cookies with almond bark... I think i am going to do it tonight though so my daughter can do it with me! They are the best cookies... almond bark, marshmallows, rice crispies, peanut butter... yummmmm....

Oh, Heather, I hear you! I'm not nearly as prepared as I would like to be, but I think this being the first year we must mail all extended family gifts is what's doing it to me. As for the baking, that will happen next week at the week after for us. That's when we get to slow down and enjoy the prep.

Hi Heather. Know what you mean, seems Christmas is coming on us so fast that the planning and knowing what dinner will be etc., etc., is pretty much jumbled here.
