Rustic Flannel Afghan Status

I've really enjoyed working on my Rustic Flannel Afghan.

Pattern information can be found HERE.

I put a good dent in these colors I had in my stash, but not big enough.  So, I decided to add two more strips to make it wider.

I'm using I Love This Yarn in Ivory and High Sierra Ombre.  I bought this yarn years ago.  I don't even remember the projects I had in mind for them, but it was high time it got used up.

I did 10 rows of each color according to the pattern.

This blanket is heavy and warm; a perfect project for this time of year.  I'll post photos once it's complete.

Happy New Year wishes to you and yours!
Heather

    1. Yes, using two strands of yarn for the whole thing. It's done in strips, which, I think is why it works up so quickly.

  7. I love the colors and the simplicity of the pattern. Very rustic. But alas, way to heavy of a blanket for FL. I've enjoyed reading your blog this past year. Happy New Year!

  8. So pretty. I think adding two more rows will make it look very nice. I'm doing pretty good with my afghan, though no where near as fast as yours. :) Happy New Year to you too.
