A Sense of Accomplishment

I finally have a sense of accomplishment.

:-)

My crochet mojo has been out the window lately.  Summer has us out of our usual routine and outdoors more, which doesn't leave a lot of time for my crochet.

I wanted to do something quick, that I knew I could complete in a couple of days.  Yes, it took me two days to complete two dishcloths!  But I did it!  LOL!

This is my 29 Stitches Dishcloth minus the reverse single crochet in the final round.  I got the cotton at WalMart marked down to .99 cents.  I thought it was cheery and "kitcheny".

I made these for my sis, whose dishwasher is broken, so they are back to hand washing dishes for a family of four.  I'll give these to her the next time I see her.

It's Friday and the weekend is upon us.
I hope you have a great one!

  4. I am working on small crochet projects so that I can continually feel a sense of accomplishment. :) Dishcloths are easy and great! I am the official dishwasher here each and every day and actually like doing it, most of the time. It's rather therapeutic. :) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

  5. Very nice Heather. My crochet mojo is off too. I've been busy with the garden and at night I do a little bit on my scrap 'ghans. Stay cool...

  6. Ugghh...I hate when my crochet and/or knitting mojo is off! Small projects are the best at helping get it back on track! These dishcloths are great! I love the colors.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Pigeon Forge is only about 2½ hours from us and Gatlinburg only adds about another 20 minutes in the off season when traffic isn't bad. It's our favorite little getaway, but usually we just go, have a nice dinner, spend the night, and window shop a little the next morning before we head home. It was really nice to actually get to do a few of the activities this time. *Ü*

Hope you get your mojo back soon!
    Have a great weekend sweetie!
