Glorious Spring!

Today felt like the official start of spring.

After soccer (the last game!) and hair cuts for the "boys", we were able to get outside and do a little work in the yard.

I got two flower beds cleaned out.
The one by the mailbox; before...

and, after...

I also cleaned out the bed around my favorite tree in our yard...

It's where my little cement bunny resides and I usually put a potted shade plant under the tree in the summer.

We still have LOADS to do...
but, it's a good start.

We were only out for a couple of hours, but I know I'll be feeling those hours later this evening or sometime tomorrow.

I hope you were able to get out and enjoy a pretty day.

I think Spring has Sprung!

  3. Looks great. We are cutting our grass for the first time this year. Hopefully the rain will hold off a little while. Have you had a lot of rain the last few days?

  4. Wow, that is so nice you are having spring already. We are wet and chilly. Definitely more spring like than normal, but not spring like you have. :)

  6. Thanks ladies. We are enjoying the early spring today. It rained most of the week, which made today all the sweeter. :-)

  8. Looks like an absolutely gorgeous day! I cleaned for 5 hours yesterday since we had the unexpected day off. Saudi Arabia had today off, too, as their dust storm still hadn't cleared. We had a beautiful day but it was back to school. Have a great week. Tammy
