We had a little bit of snow yesterday,
which I was so glad to see...
I know I'm in the minority when I say, "I love the snow."
But, I so enjoy the look of a few good inches blanketing the ground making everything look fresh and clean. Just give me one good snow storm and I'll be content.
I have big plans this afternoon (and weekend)....
...it involves all those ends; weaving them in.
I have one side complete. I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I'll be able to start on the border this weekend sometime. We'll have to see how time plays out.
I hope your Friday is going well and that your weekend is off to a great start. I'm looking forward to another relaxing one....
After the holidays, it's nice to slow down...
and...
breath.
Take care!

You're not the only one, Heather... I love the snow as well! The boys and I have been suffering from the lack of snow this year, as evidenced by the two of them trying to scrape enough together from yesterday's 2 inches to have a snowball fight. I've declared today a "snow day" and have cancelled school lessons. What if this is all we get this year? Sad thought, but we must celebrate what we have. I, too, would be much contented with a nice big snowstorm that traps hubby at home for the day. *bliss*
ReplyDeleteHappy finishing this weekend of your blanket; I can't wait to see the finished product, and also to start the one for my parents. I'm colour-coding in my mind right now, lol.
Happy weekending!

I LOVE the snow too so I'm right there with (in the minority!)
ReplyDeleteWow, that does look like a lot of work. I hope you get it all done this weekend. I'm going to work on a couple of yarn projects myself this weekend. Kind of would like to start today, but we have a birthday party to go to. Guess I'll try tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteOh MY...look at all those ends! I hope you get some snow too so I can see it! I doubt I'll see any around here.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but while I think snow is beautiful coming down, I don't care for it. Can't wait to see the finished project after weaving all those ends in. Wouldn't it make more sense to work them in as you complete a row?
ReplyDeleteI too, love the snow, even though we don't see very much of it here. I'm cheering you on in getting those ends weaved in!!!!

Hi Heather - I like the snow as long as I don't have to go out in it. Good luck with the ends weaving. :)
ReplyDeleteMy family only ever visited snow every other Christmas when we headed up north to my mom's side of the family. It was fun but I don't think I could live in it. I don't like to be cold.
ReplyDeleteWow! You sure do have a lot of ends there to weave in. I don't leave tails that long. Do you weave with a needle or just pull through with your crochet hook? That's usually what I do. and I make knots. I know they say you aren't supposed to, but I am always afraid it will unravel if I don't.
Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
When I'm tucked in safe and sound I can enjoy the snow. It really does make everything so very pretty. Now, thats a lot of ends to weave in! I can see you're going to be busy for a while. But it will be oh so worth it. What a beauty this is! Have a wonderful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI love the snow! Of course, I don't live in it!! We have to drive an hour up the mountain, but I do love it. Happy weaving!!!
