with a pattern that is...
LOL
I have one panel (of 10) complete in the "Wooded Lodge" afghan. This pattern is so much fun, I enjoy doing the different stitches and seeing how the pattern develops. I think this is going to be really cool, oops, I mean warm when it's done. The panel is very heavy.
I've found the pattern in two different places...
On a different note...
One of the expectant nieces had her little one a bit early, so I started working on the second baby blanket yesterday. I'm using the Tiramisu pattern. It's one I turn to time and again; tried and true and I'm making it in blue!
She had a little boy.

I am in love with that pattern too!!! Is it complicated though?
ReplyDeletewow, this looks sooo special, can't wait to see it finished!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is really beautiful. I have that afghan book, too. I think I'm going to have to take a look at that pattern. I really love the look of it.
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be stunning. I love the look of Anne Halliday's patterns too. I have made the Tiramisu Blanket. It's a goodie also. Everyone loves the way they look with the pretty ribbon.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in your afghan, but after looking at the pattern I agree it will be a very warm afghan, too warm for central FL at least.
ReplyDeleteI've made the Tiramisu blanket for several new babies also. I love that pattern.
Wow, that looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA big WOW Heather. This is going to be amazing. Your work is gorgeous. Can't wait to see it finished (bet you can't too!).
ReplyDeleteLooks so great! I'm happy to hear that you have "fallen" for it the more you worked on the first panel. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's great and the colors are warm and toasty.
ReplyDeleteYour crochet work is always so beautiful, Heather. This pattern is quite lovely but I have a feeling I would be missing stitches and the pattern would not emerge as beautifully as it has for you. :/ Welcome baby boy to the world! I know the blanket you make for him will be gorgeous, too. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThank you for your nice comments. I have the ends woven in on the first panel and will be concentrating on the baby blanket for a few days.
ReplyDeleteKris, no the pattern isn't difficult, you just need to follow along with the instructions. It's not something you can memorize; at least I haven't so far. :-)
So glad you like the pattern. It is so very cute. I love the colors you picked. :)

ReplyDeleteStunning! Is it easy to do though? (total novice here!)
ReplyDeletehello
ReplyDeletejust wonderful.
regina
Thank you! :-)
ReplyDeleteTempewytch, I wouldn't classify it as easy, but it isn't difficult either. Just a matter of keeping the pattern close at hand to refer to. :-)
