The Back is Done

I finished the back of the Allover Pullover Monday and started the ribbing for the front portion of the sweater the same day.  I've had a busy couple of days, but hope to get back to working on it sometime this afternoon.  It's a swift moving project and I'm really enjoying it.

I love this time of year.  There's nothing better than a good nights sleep with a cool breeze coming in through the windows and waking up to the sound of birds chirping.

My potted impatiens are finally filling out their pots and starting to bloom...

My mom brought me the pot from NC, it was hand potted and painted.  It looks nice with the flowers in it, don't you think?

Allover Pullover

This is Crochet World's Allover Pullover that is in the current issue.  There was something about the project I really liked.  I thought it would be perfect for the little one this fall.

I played around with the pattern for a few days before I got serious with it yesterday.

This is the start of the back of the sweater.  I'm using I Love This Yarn, which is just something I had in my stash.  With us "hopefully" moving I've been trying not to add to my yarn "collection".

It was a beautiful afternoon to sit on the deck, breath in some fresh air and relax.

I hope your Sunday is blessed.

It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood...

It's a beautiful gorgeous day here in the Cincinnati area.  A little too cool for swimming, so we opted for a nature walk.

Wouldn't you know, I forgot my camera.  These were taken with hubby's i-phone.

It takes pretty good pictures!

It was fun exploring Caesar's Creek park again.  There is a lot more to discover, but we decided to head home and chill for the remainder of the afternoon.

On the crochet front, I started playing around with the Allover Pullover for dear son.  I'm just using a medium blue yarn I had in my stash.  I'll get a picture for you once I get a little further on it.

Enjoy your Saturday!
