Row, by row, I'm making a little progress on the Fisherman Wedding afghan. It is a bit slow going, but I'm enjoying working on it and I like the way it is looking so far...
I went back to the hook sizes that the pattern calls for, I had thought about using smaller hooks, but I wasn't happy with the drape of the fabric, so I went back to the larger hooks.
I'm off to sit in my crochet chair and get hooking, I've got a wedding deadline to meet!
I hope your week is going well so far.

Oh, this pattern is lovely - it's expected to not zip along like a simple dc stitch...this will be a treasured family heirloom indeed!

ReplyDeleteOh Heather, this is beautiful. What a treasure this will be. Your work is perfect. This is a true labor of love. Thanks for posting about where the pattern is from. I would like to find this. It will be a while before I can tackle a project of this size but something I would like to do. Have a wonderful day. Blessings.
